Well Ashley last night said it isn't going to be a happy blog day is it? I said no its not.
I'm not even sure where to start. I suppose I can say this I am not happy about the outcome of the election. I could go so far as to say that I'm scared. I'm scared for my freedoms, I'm scared because of the economy. He is going to hurt all of those things.
I think we can all remember a little bit ago when California went crying to washington because they couldn't get the money to fund the state. Who is the US government going to go crying to when they can't fund all of BO's programs he wants to start. The tax payor. The problem is though it is a mostly democratic senate and house now. They don't have to cry anymore they just have to tax.
Lets think about what he wants to do here. Our government is spending at a deficit right now, how could we possibly afford more programs if we don't have the money for the ones we have right now! Now supposing the new programs pass and there is insurance for the whole world. How do we actually pay for it using negative money? By raising taxes! So now in our strapped for cash economy lets take more money away from the consumer.
Oh don't worry its ok we'll just start some programs to help feed everyone, so lets raise taxes! Oh no you now can't pay for your house we'll just build you some, so lets raise taxes.
You cannot institute more programs with less money, its not possible.
JFK said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." Don't ask how the country can get you all of your wildest dreams. Ask yourself what you need to do to get those dreams. Someone at some point in time must have confused the pursuit of happiness, with happiness. Happiness is not a freedom. Its something you have to work for.
Unfortunately work is outdated. Why work when the government can give you what you want.
